Method 1.

Ensure that this program is completely un-installed from the computer. Once the program is uninstalled, restart the computer and then try to install the program.

1-Press Windows key + R to get the run window, type appwiz.cpl and click ok.

2-You will get the programs and features window. Check the list for student version of Autodesk 3ds Max 9.

3-If you find student version of Autodesk 3ds Max 9 listed, right click on it and select uninstall.
